Week 7 Class Reflection:

This week in class, we tried a different learning tactic. Since classes are online, we have had to constantly adapt to new methods of learning. As a collective, we gave our professor some feedback on how our lessons could be made more engaging. Our professor took this opportunity to try a new method of teaching and learning. This was done through something called EdCamp. EdCamp sessions allowed us to pick categories of interest (that crossover with technology and teaching) and allowed for collaborative work between students, all while being online. We were allowed to talk freely about the topics at hand, and we were not confined to one specific topic. This was such a neat and different experience for us as students, because we were given the chance to interact with our classmates, which does not happen very often considering classes are online. It was a nice change and a great way to incorporate collaboration in an online learning environment.
